Hello! First off I want to say the customer service is amazing. Please keep it up! Second, I received by packages so quickly even though I'm stationed in Guam. A few of the products I've tried so far are the Coconut Curl Pudding, Coconut Curl Lotion and the Coconut Curl Spray. I have to say I love all of them. My hair is super moisturized. I just ordered the Moku Shampoo and Conditioner and the Olive Moisture Mask. I am looking forward to trying those as well as my Protein Strengthener. I love the fact that these are all natural products. They leave my hair looking and smelling good. I have 3c type curls, so protective styles dont last long on my hair, so I opt for wash and go's when I'm not at work. I'm in the military (active duty) so I have to wear my hair pulled in a bun. These products are so versatile that I can transition styles as needed. I can't say how grateful I am to have found out about these products. Please, please, please don't change these products. It's really hard to find and stick with products that work for me. Keep up the good work!

If you’re tired of being a product junkie then look no further! I live in a part of Canada where it’s bitterly cold in the winter and there’s no such thing as Oyin Handmade, DevaCurl or Miss Jessie’s; the products for natural hair are limited at best. After 24 years of chemicals, my last relaxer was in Jan 2010 and I had no clue how to take care of my natural hair; I just stopped relaxing and started wearing wigs. I scoured internet blogs, YouTube, and every other website I could find, endured every frustration, and was even tempted to go back to relaxing. I came across Komaza Care but tried tons of other products first. I have 4b hair with 3c on my entire crown. My hair never absorbed any moisturizer at all; everything I tried just sat on my hair. Earlier this month (April), I took the time to read every testimonial on the Komaza Care website, and even went looking for negative comments and/or bad product experiences on YouTube and in other internet articles. The general consensus was: great products, great service. I e-mailed them with my plight of not knowing where to begin with a regimen and my lack of access to good products, and in less than 2 hours I had a response mapping out a regimen for my super-dry hair. I love that they have samples so you’re not stuck with endless bottles off stuff that doesn’t work. I placed my order and it arrived North Dakota in 2 days flat! I tried the products, carefully following the instructions Toni gave me and WOW!! I was blown away! My hair is so moisturized with no residue on my hands; my hair totally drank up the Califia Lotion and Shea Butter Lotion. I did my 2-strand twists with the Califia Care Styling Pudding and they are so very soft now I can’t stop touching them! Not only do the products smell great they also work great! I also struggled with an incredibly itchy scalp and even though I washed twice a week, and used a rosemary/tea tree oil/eucalyptus oil mix with water on my scalp, I couldn’t get rid of the itch. The Moku Pre-Shampoo Treatment took care of that. Double WOW! Since they don’t ship to Canada I had to have my shipment sent to a friend in North Dakota , then sent to me. Let me tell you these products are totally worth that extra-long shipping process. I’ve already ordered about 3 month’s worth of product and will keep ordering. To the folks at Komaza, I totally commend you for your professionalism, for your impeccable customer service and for making such a fabulous product! My hair thanks you, too ;)

First, I love your products so much! I decided to go natural because I grew tired of my hair damage. Funny enough I never liked perms because on me, straight hair was boring, so I got curls and coloured my hair. Three years ago after a very stressful situation, my hair just started falling out. I was distressed and so unaware of how to take care of it. I actually believed the harsher the chemicals the better it is for my hair. I started thinking about the history of my hair and remembered that as a child my hair was healthy, long and thick and I realized it was because it was natural. The fallacy of African hair/extremely curly hair being impossible to take care of in its natural state was socially ingrained in me especially during my teen years. Finally, I started educating myself about my hair, during this process however, I found so much inaccurate information it was daunting, and then by chance I found you! Needless to say I was thrilled. Getting to know my natural hair has put me in a happy place. I forgot how soft and touchable it was in its natural state. It is like rekindling a relationship with a scorned lover; lots of love and patience required, but the results are exhilarating. My first purchase of Komaza hair care products and I'm smiling already as i rinse my hair. I placed the order online on a friday and monday my postal man had a delivery for me. I used my products on tuesday night. My first use of the Califa shampoo I did not get a lather. i dont know if this is suppose to happen but I continued the process. i followed with the honeycomb and ended with the califa conditioner and leave in. I left my hair to air dry. my hair is soft and i expect once its dry to be softer. I'm just beginning and so far Komaza may have a spot on my beauty shelf. I did my big chop in August 2010 and initially was apprehensive about wearing my TWA outside the confinements of my home for about two months (I was wearing quick weaves). I began researching to find a product(s) that would keep my hair from being dry and brittle because after having relaxers so long, I had no idea how to treat my natural hair. Then, I came across a blog that mentioned Komaza Care and how good it was. After visiting the website, I decided to try the Califa sample set. First of all, how awesome it was to receive my order after two days!!! Secondly, the products smell WONDERFUL!!!! Lastly, my hair LOVES Komaza's products. I just had to write back to tell you about my latest wonderful experience! I used the Shea Butter Hair Lotion and Coconut Curl Lotion to place my hair in twists (sealing with Jojoba oil). I wore my hair in twists from Saturday to Wednesday. Based upon the info you provided about the Shea Butter Hair Lotion absorbing easily into the hair, I decided to coat my hands with the Shea Butter Hair Lotion and oil mixed together to unravel my twists. Oh my Goodness!! It worked wonders! Not only was my hair still soft and moisturized from the initial twists, but using the combination made my hair even more soft, and I was even able to smooth out the frizzies that occurred during the unraveling. I must say that I am really impressed! This is by far one of the best twist-outs I have ever had! I plan to continue using this combination for the weekly care of my hair....it's just perfect! I know I keep saying thank you....BUT...thank you! I really love your products!

I wrote a positive email a few months ago, but didn't write a review of how effective the products were and now I will. My first order included samples of the Shea Butter lotion, Coconut Curl lotion, two Califia products, and the Moku hair butter. They all performed great! I received the Califia Care kit along with a Moku Hair Butter last week and I experienced the same consistent results as with my first usage of the samples. I love the texture of the Califia Moisturizing Cream, but what I hadn't tried before was the Califia Shampoo and Conditioner. What a wonderful tropical smell! My hair felt clean afterwards, but not stripped and the conditioner is no joke in its moisturizing properties. The Moku Hair Butter leaves your hair silky soft and smells great too! When in a more solid state, it feels like you smoothing icing onto your hair. It would be even better if it had a lemongrass scent to go with the lemonade color! I have been happily natural since 2007. I try a lot of products, I love natural products for my thin hair which is also a 4C type. I found your website through MotownGirl.com and decided that I would try a few products to start. I got the daily vitamin spray and the Califia care styling pudding. I used the pudding last night on my wet hair to two-strand twist and I am in love with this stuff. I am going to go on-line and purchase the whole Califia product kit. My hair looks and feels great. It is so soft and the curls look amazing. Like I said, I try a lot of products to get the feel of what will work for my hair, but this stuff is great. This is the first time that I was able to braid or twist my wet hair and have the shrinkage be minimal. Thanks so much.

I normally don’t write reviews, but I just had to tell you and others what great hair care products you make! I have recently made the decision to transition from a perm to my natural hair. My last perm was May of 2010 and I first started with the jojoba hemp oil and califia styling pudding, which I loved. Then I purchased the moku hair serum and that worked just as well. But my most recent purchase the califia line shampoo and conditioner is what has me raving to everyone about it. Now let me tell you I have tried my fair share of shampoo’s and conditioner’s, my last being the Wen hair care system which I thought was fantastic, until I tried the califia line and this just blow the Wen out of the water! I mean it totally detangled my hair perfectly and I have never experienced that before. I flat ironed my hair after I let it air dry and let me tell you my hair was silky and soft and it was so straight it looked like I had just got a perm, which is the look I am going for. I don’t know what type my hair is but it has a wavy S pattern and is really thick and long ( a little past my bra strap), but these products have really tamed my hair. I am for the first time encouraged to grow my hair out! I just love these products and will no longer be using anything other than Komaza products on my hair. SO please don’t stop making your products because my hair now needs Komaza! To any one reading the reviews as a determining factor to make your first purchase, please try the sample products first so you can just try it, I promise your hair will love it!

I am in the process of transitioning into natural hair. I have had a press and curl for most of my life and recently decided to transition to natural hair, at least for the summer months. I came across the Komaza Care website because I was looking for something that was all-natural and had a variety of products that would work on different types of hair. I have combination hair (mostly 3c, but some 4a) and it has been a challenge to find products that leave my hair moisturized without weighing it down or making it crispy - with too much oil, my hair looks like a stringy mess! I can honestly say that the Coconut Curl line works great for me. It moisturizes and leaves my hair very soft. I have used the lotion to do braid outs and twist outs and it always comes out consistently the same. I love these products. Next I am going to try the Coconut Curl Spray because mid-week, I sometimes need to reset my hair and this will be perfect for re-wetting purposes. Another one of my favorites is the Coconut Curl Pudding. This has great hold (not too heavy, though) and smoothes edges wonderfully. Thank you so much for the great products. Keep up the good work!

Just wanted to thank you for your products and high level of customer service. I originally began transitioning in April and was happy to discover your products. Especially when I was able to ask questions that were quickly answered; I also received detailed responses. The quality of your products was apparent when I went to a natural haristylist and was told that my hair was in good condition when compared to other women who had transitioned. I am a new customer using the Komaza Hair Products. I forgot to order the conditioner and have recently ordered again. I washed my hair with my ususal products until I get all of the Califia Products. I used the HoneyComb Hair Rejuvenator because my hair does not have a relaxer in it because I suffered some real chemical damage and had been wearing a wig for two years, only washing, conditioning, and moisturizing my hair. I have gone back to the press and curl. After one use of the HoneyComb Hair Rejuvenator, my hair is so much healthier feeling, its fuller and softer. I am so pleased with this product. I can't wait to get all of the Califia products so that I can use them together. I expect my hair to be in much better condition and the thinning and weak hair will be stronger.

Good Morning, I am sending this e-mail to extend my appreciation for your company, and the great customer service you provide. A few weeks ago I ordered several products (the Califia Care Kit, Intense Moisture Therapy, Vitamin Reign, and Hair Nourishment Oil). I was so excited to receive the products within 3 days after my order. Shortly after, I used the Intense Moisture Therapy for deep conditioning, and the Califia Kit. I am truly pleased with the results, and will be ordering these products in the future. I have had natural hair for 7 years, and I finally find the products that gives me the look I've been hoping for. On another note, I ordered the Vitamin Reign and the Nourishment Oil for my mother. She has had natural hair for 10 years, but it has been breaking, and thinning lately. So, as a treat, I wanted her to use these products. However, due to her taking medication for her Blood Pressure for over 20 years, I had to return the Hair Nourishment Oil, due to the warning label. I must say, after I explained my dilemma, the ladies in customer service were an amazing help. They told me I could return the unopened product, and also recommended another product to use. I notice your return policy on the web, however, the warning label was listed on the web for these products, and I am very thankful you were able to accommodate me in this situation. I am so thankful for your assistance during this process. The ladies were not rude, or harsh, they simply wanted to help me by providing the best service, and they did! KomazaCare, I wanted to give you guys a huge THANK YOU- for products that really work on our naturally curly, coily hair. I've searched and tried SO many products in my hair since going natural and I've never found anything that leaves my hair feeling this moisturized and looking this healthy and shiny (smells great too :) - that lasts for DAYS! I received my order today which is Friday. That's only two days! I smelled my products and let me tell you, you did a marvelous job. The fragrance is delicious and just right. Not overpowering at all. The coconut curl lotion is exactly what I would have desired in a coconut scent. A milky coconut smell that has just the right amount of sweetness. Perfecto! OMG!!!!! I just had to write you wonderful ladies again and tell you how much I am lovin' my hair pudding. I am sooo happy with my hair. I have curly thick 3b/4a hair and I received my jar about a week ago. Well, this morning I decided to go ahead and wet my hair and style it and EVERYONE is telling me how cute my hair is! It looks like my hair has been straw set, but it hasn't. I love the califia care products, because they always untangle my hair and keep it really nourished. My hair is at the length where the head band doesn't work anymore, but it is too short to go in a ponytail. My hair was a little wet still when I left for work, but it has dried to just beautiful curls and as I pull them they are little corkscrews all over the place. My hair is not frizzy, nor dry looking! OMG, My curls Looooove the Califia Line so very much… The Califia Leave in totally gets the clumps clumping for nice plump juicy curls….. I would like to thank the makers of komaza for great products that truly work. I am currently in Iraq and my hair was damaged by tight braiding so I chopped it off. I now have an inch of hair. I use the califa care line, protein spray, deep condish and the nourishment oil. My hair and scalp loves it. My hair is soft, and my scalp feels great. I used to have tender/sore spots on my head, but not anymore :) its important to have a product that works. Especially out here in this weather. Hello, I wanted to let the Komaza company know that I am so happy to have found your products. I tried the leading natural African American hair line for natural and relaxed hair and the results were no where near what I experienced with Komaza as a first time customer. Plus that other line I learned recently isn't 100% natural as claimed. That other brand left my hair feeling greasy a lot, so I'm happy to find a brand that knows how to hydrate African American hair without all the greasiness. I think I have 4a/4b hair, so that's pretty coarse yet I have curl definition. I just did the BIG CHOP about a month ago and I wanted to use maintenance that was 100% natural. I remembered your web site and I purchased the Coconut Curl Kit (which is really meant type 3 hair) and I purchased the Hair Nourishment Oil. Let me just say you guys know what you're doing..lol. First far as the Hair Nourishment Oil, I'm just happy to use a growth oil that doesn't turn my pillow yellow & greasy when I sleep. I'm glad it doesn't drip all down my neck and forehead, it's very light, I can't tell I even put it in my hair most of the time. Plus I can tell already my hair is picking up speed in hair growth. Please don't discontinue that oil. Lastly, the Coconut Kit is WONDERFUL!!! It's not designed for my hair type but it defined my type of curls nicely. It didn't feel greasy, yet my hair was VERY hydrated, my hair is short but I can tell it doesn't weigh down the hair. My crown looks very pretty thanks to that kit and has a nice natural, healthy sheen as well. I actually feel like I can wash my hair everyday with the shampoo because my hair is so hydrated. Really great products. I took the tip from your web site too, which is to put water in my hair at least every other day because it helps the product to work better and my hair looks fresh. Great tip! I only wish the shampoo and conditioner could be at least 11 oz more... at least. Because I just see as my hair gets longer it may require more shampoo and conditioner. Other than that everything is great. I got my mother to purchase from you guys and I can't wait to hear her experience when she uses your products. My next try after I'm completely out of the Coconut Kit is to get the Califia Care Kit that is actually designed for my type 4 hair. I'm sure I won't be disappointed seeing how if a kit that wasn't meant for me did what it did...what would a kit meant for me do?!!..lol. Hello, dear Komaza ladies - I wanted to share with you my absolute love for your Coconut Hair Pudding. I have medium texture 3B curls and your pudding is my HG product. I get the best curls with your pudding and I can't replicate them with any other product. I've searched for other puddings/custards and nothing else comes close. I'd love to see the pudding offered in a larger size if that is something you would consider!

Oh my goodness this is the sheabutter lotion I fell in love with about 3 years ago. It moisturize our hair sooo good and it leaves our hair soft, please Rene do not change the texture of this lotion it's amazing it melts on our hair like Butta!!! I love this lotion if I could give it a 10 STAR I would, matter of fact I'm going to give it a 10 STAR because it is the BOMB!!! No more dry hair. And I love the fact that it does not make my hair shrink, Because I hate products that make my hair shrink. From now on I'm going to stick with komaza products no more waisting my money in products that do not work and makes our hair dry and hard. I have used products like carol's daughter, afroveda, karensbody beautiful, ultrablack , sheamoisture the list goes on and on none of those products even come close to the komaza sheabutter lotion. Also I love the way the aloe shampoo and conditioner smells, one of my little girl said that the sheabutter smell like graham cracker and vanilla pudding she just love the smell of this sheabutter lotion. Hello! My natural hair story started a few years ago. I grew out my hair and wore a dry afro puff for many months. I got so tired of not knowing what to do with it and not finding any products that made my kinky hair feel moisturized and soft that I just said forget it and went back to perms. I finally went natural again about three weeks ago and I was extremely nervous going down the same road. During my internet study about natural hair I came across your website and was very impressed at the organization and information that it provides. Also, I was impressed with such rave reviews about the products and also about the fast shipping. To start out I ordered the Califia sample kit on Sunday and it arrived Wednesday afternoon (Just like other satisfied customers)! When I picked up the box I couldn't wait to get it home to see if it lived up to the hype and it did! For the last two days I have been using the moisturizing spray and cream like it's going out of style and it has done wonders. My hair is so soft and easy to manage without buildup. I find myself touching my hair all day and it smells so good! I love the fact that the products last and won't dry out as the day goes on. Dear Komaza, I have relaxed hair and I started using your product in July 2009. In just one month's time I can already tell a difference in my hair. First I would like to say thanks for the products! My hair is a lighter and it looks fuller(thicker). I'm use to the heavy weighed down grease, bye-bye to all that! Since I've started to use Komaza my hair has a more natural look. First I would like to say thanks for the products! I do not have hair on the sides I never have, but I can see a little fuzz, so I'm going to continue using Hair Nourishment Oil, and the Protein Strengthener. The Shea Butter Hair Lotion is awesome as well. If Komaza product can make that big of a difference in just one month's time I can't wait to see what will happen in 4 months. Hello! For the first time in a very long time I have finally found something that actually keeps the ends of my hair soft, moisturized, and shiny for days. Normally I have to use a lot of product to get those results for one day. I have been using coconut curl lotion and conditioner. It smells so good and I am having fun doing my hair for once! I go to an Aveda salon to get my hair trimmed and buy products, and since I have been using Komaza my hair stylist suggested that I stick with your products only. I gave my stylist a sample of your product and now he will be ordering sometime soon for himself. Last week my best friend Meagan ordered some items in the coconut care line and she absolutely loves it! I have been telling as many of my friends, family, and any who asks about my hair about your products.

Listen, I'm as white as it gets (most makeup isn't even light enough for my complexion) but my hair is on the dry side and curly/wavy, so when I saw someone on the henna site that I order from (www.mehandi.com) rave about your products, I checked out the site and ordered samples...holy cow! I LOVE the Aloe conditioner! Your ingredients are lovely and the instant moisture, real moisture and not that silicone coating, was sooooo welcome....my hair was thirsty! I just ordered samples of the coconut curl products and shea butter leave in as well. Having grown up with an African American stepdad we always thought it was a hoot that we could use the same hair care products. I have to hip him to this, it's a giant step above Aveda, which we both used to use (they went way downhill when Estee Lauder bought them). It's surprisingly difficult to find products that focus on moisture without tons of cones or heavy proteins. Your products are gorgeous and I just had to share - thank you!

I just wanted to tell you how much I LOVE your products! I have been natural for 3yrs and have sampled several products. I never could seem to find the “right” thing to work for my 4a/b hair. Greetings! I would like to thank everyone at Komaza for wonderful products! I have natural hair (Sisterlocks) and I have started to use your products over the last 4 months. My maturing locks are kept clean and lightly moisturized longer with the use of your Herbal Tea Tree and Emu Oil Shampoo (which I use weekly). Just a touch of the Hair Nourishment Oil keeps my hair moisturized and fresh in between washings. I also love your Protein Strengthener Spray, which I use about once a month. It keeps my hair strong in between retightening. I recently received a sample of the Intense Moisture Therapy, which I hope to use as a pre-shampoo treatment for those days when my hair is really dry. As far as skin care goes, your Hand and Body Lotion is so thick and creamy! Whenever I put it on, my skin stays hydrated all day long.
